When you hear the word sale.....you go half crazy there only.Fixing date,time when to go there for your shopping or as you read the advertisement in the newspaper in the morning you take out your car in the afternoon and go! But what is sale exactly??? A trick,a magic to fool you.You enter the particular shop with a blindfold of sale on your eyes.You actually don't see that the word sale was actually used to hypnotize you.......hypnotize so that you cant see what is the actual quality of the stuff which they have put up for sale.Years old stock,defective pieces,poor quality stuff.This is actually viz put up for sale.The stock owners will say its a stock clearance sale but actually its is a garbage sale or I would say a Yard sale.Yard sale because........in Yard sale you sell the useless stuff of your house or the stuff viz not being used by you.And you think that these stuff of yours actually can be of use to someone else! The Yard sale and these big showrooms sales are same but the only difference is the sale price.The price of Yard sale is cheap you know.....affordable...........they don't bluff around with the price. But a showroom sale is a big bluff.....30% discount on original. Original price....Rs.500.....sale price Rs.399.Just a mare Rs.100 saving is that called sale?? Sale is actually this Original Price Rs.800 Sale Price Rs 395.A saving of Rs.400.I am saying this because if you see,to reach the place of sale...you have to transport yourself....you need to use transportation....bus,car train,auto....anything.This itself costs you about a Rs.100.And if you go to a big mall.....The other big hypnotic shops makes you spend more money.And this Papi Pet...your stomach!! seeing a place like Mac D or Subway you just flatter there itself.So you see theres an extra spend there.
So next time you read a SALE Advertisement don't get hypnotized with it see the actual reality of sale.(the Actual good stuff is never on sale ;) )

see the thing is from past soo many yers i've observed this!so ive written it.its true the gud stuff is never on sale.U c this is the business rule.i no it becoz im from a business background.so i no how do ppl use diff tricks 4 their sales!
Its good post and a different one.. Yet at a point I don't agree to you.. Coming from a marketing background I do understand its technicalities.
I do understand when you say it's a yard sale. It's useless to them but isn't it useful to you? you talked about commuting expense but won't you incur that when you go to shopping even if there is no sale. Why? cause we need to buy what we have to. It's our necessity.
Quality remains the same cause the product that is manufactured is not a perishable product. Why big big companies like Kutons, cotton County, Peter England have sales coz as per the laws of Business keeping a stock at the end of the financial year would put a bad impact on business.

i no its the business law...n they have to expel out the old stock....but most of the time ive found defects in d sale products......weave patter is different...different in d sense like the whole cloths weave patter gone in the forward direction but on the oneforth it goes in the backward direction.....then theres some size defect n so on.
but wht uve said is also rht!i agree to that
sales are where half of my shopping happens :P still you're tight about the quality of goods.But if you are careful,picke and choosy,then you can get some great stuff :)
honestly i dint like ur content.....since d next time i shop probably this wil linger around in ma mind......but der is no othr way out 4 we col students 2 save our money.....

I really dont think that much about buying stuff. But then I generally dont pick up anything from a sale cos I love to shop in peace. And when people see the word "SALE"...that's it. Overcrowding!

Okay first and foremost no one runs business for free. It's there to earn profit.
Second, when it is called stock clearance sale it means the products which are still there and have not been sold.. If it is there and not been sold that means it is rejected by other fellow shoppers for some or the other reason. Hence, if you find it defective it should not be a surprise.
Third, finding the best product out of the one that are put on sale is again an art. I am sure these guys provide Trail Room. You can always wear and make sure it fits you.
Fourth, if you find product defective you always has an option to go for an exchange in a given span of time. If it is more than the given span of time that you find the product defective, Hard luck :P
Yet you made a post on a nice topic which no one might have thought of. Good attempt..

Well..if its the trick in the business, the techies only fall prey to it....Whom should we blame ? Its an Indian insight, who always try to get the maximum from the minimum.
In Bangalore, the Brand Factory store will always be crowded and you will see people getting bunch of shirts and trousers...Because they the offer is Buy 6 Get 6..
And this so called "Sale" will be throughout the year..only they substitute the numbers.. Buy X Get X.
