Wonder Why???

"Hey that one is good.....it's pretty stylish!! Na....... this one is better, it goes off with many dresses as well as occasions."Well you might have got an idea of what I'm talking about. But if NO!! let me tell you that I'm talking about purses.A purse or rather I should say purses are a womans best friend.Yes,I replaced diamonds with purses.Because you see, a diamond cannot be afforded by each and every woman but purses can be.They'll keep on saving money to buy a particular purse which they had seen the other day at the mall.
I always wondered why do women carry purses...I mean....I've seen women with such big purses (which are sometime equivalent to cabin bag viz carried inside the plane).And wonder what do they keep inside it?? As a child I had always seen my mom carrying a big purse which was always equivalent to a cabin bag.Then when i grew up I saw that my friends also carry the same thing! Purse is just for keeping money I guess!! You could have a small one for carrying it like men do,why carry this unnecessary load?? WAS IT A STYLE STATEMENT FOR LADIES?? Well to find out the answer and out of curiosity I started asking or I should say very shamelessly started checking their purses,just to see whats inside.Half of the time I ended up landing myself into a so called Cosmetic Shop ( I could actually open a small shop on the road side and sell them).A lip stick (YUCK!!), a lip gloss (Wonder what it is and whats the difference between a lipstick and a lip gloss),a pencil(the cosmetic one),mascara,then a sweet smelly skin colored liquid which they apply on face!! (I'm sorry I don't know what it is called).A nail polish,nail filer,a comb,a black colored brush viz rubbed on cheeks (I would rather use that brush for painting).And YES!! how could I forget this a MIRROR (They will specially look for purses fitted with a mirror inside).

Well this all is just a glimpse,I have more for you.Women even keep a book,a handkerchief,then a polythene bag (so that they can stuff their so called shopping of vegetables etc into it).A mobile,water bottle, pen,paper,tissue n lots more.(The list's endless).

And when it comes to gifts,purse is the first thing which is clicked into their minds (wonder WHY??).Its cheap and has a great utility (according to them).Today I have a whole suitcase full of purses....Thanks to my friends and my father.All of different types and sizes.They are either utilized by my mother or by my sister as they are fond of purses (just like other women).Well I stick to using a small wallet viz dropped inside a small backpack with just a bottle of water and that's it.I'm done with it.Wonder WHY......WHY do they carry such a big load with them (just like a donkey) OR may be I guess that day is still to come when I'll understand the importance of purses!
